Wells of Love
The greatest of all human needs is to be loved.
On Sunday, I witnessed enhancing love being poured out upon children with rare and undiagnosed conditions.
We planned our kickoff event Team Up Ice Cream Social with special protocols and guidelines in place to bring our community of staff, volunteers and high school teams together for the Champion Children of our nonprofit CC4C.
We had ONE goal:
To be “wells” of love for the children and families.
As each child, mom, dad, sibling, high school team and volunteers interacted, cheered, laughed and ate ice cream I was filled with warmth and fulfillment.
I witnessed true lovingkindness.
It struck me that this moment was also a rare opportunity to be together and I felt compelled to bask in the celebration.
As I navigate my role in CC4C as well as my role as a Life Coach, writer and mom of four 24 year old’s, I pray constantly for deeper revelation of how to love, how to receive love, recognize love, explain it and not run out of love.
It is a daily choice to let go of obstacles to love and remain free to fill my “well”, ready to offer others refreshment.
Yesterday morning I realized in this season of my life, my overarching purpose that engulfs all my roles, jobs, projects and relationships is to love others.
I can choose to “wrap” and “stamp” all I do with love.
Because love conquers all.
Love melts anger.
Love heals.
Perfect love casts out fear.
Love never fails.
And I have ONE unconditional, perfect and never ending source of love.
God.
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
